Baner is aiming at scoring high on the lifestyle quotient too! With new and classy residential and commercial projects being constructed along Baner Road, there’s no looking anywhere else for more! All lifestyle requirements are soon to be totally fulfilled within the area itself. Baner is heading towards complete self-sufficiency. Madhura Pendase of Green Tag, a Furniture Mall, opines, " Though Baner is developing at neck breaking speed, the look and feel of the area should remain the same. It’s a comfortable lifestyle here at present. Business is truly cool and with more furniture stores opening shop, competition is going to be fun. People living here are going to have better options and choice!"
Another plus is the petrol pump,that has given commuters a lease of life. All these new add-on factors have contributed to making Baner a preferred hot spot. Real Estate Consultant Mr. Sandip Nilawar, elucidates, " Property Rates have soared, nearly 2-3 times over the past year. Rates for open land (with clear titles) along the main road, which are now somewhere around Rs.800 per sq.ft., are expected to reach anywhere between Rs. 1500 - Rs. 2000 / sq.ft. after Diwali. With colleges, International schools, Malls coming up in the area, it’s a thumbs up for Baner. "
Many great builders like Bal Developers, Vascon, etc., with their elegant residential projects have made Baner ’hot property’. IT professionals from Software Companies like Symantec, Calsoft, Brainvisa and more in close proximity at Hinjewadi, have emerged as immediate takers. A minimum of 20-25 property transactions is registered daily at the Baner Immovable Property Registration Office.
Though at present, Baner Road is going through major structural changes and is a sorry site of sorts, a little bit of patience may go a long way for development!
